Darrin Shine

Coach Shine has a deep connection to the game of basketball that started in his hometown of Augusta, GA. After graduating High School at Richmond Academy, Coach Shine earned a basketball scholarship to Delaware State University, where he learned the ins and outs of the game and developed a passion for teaching the game. After years of honing his skills on the court and in player development, he founded Shine Hoop Grind in 2013 to provide a positive and productive environment for youth in the CSRA who share his love for the game and desire to get better.
